Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men.
— 1 Timothy 2:1 (ESV)

Let us Pray

Luther's explanation of the Introduction to the Lord's Prayer, "Our Father who art in heaven," reminds us of the following:

With these words God tenderly invites us to believe that He is our true Father and that we are His true children, so that with all boldness and confidence we may ask Him as dear children ask their dear father.

We are bold to not just pray for ourselves and those we know, but also as St. Paul reminds us to pray for everyone.

"Therefore, I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men." —  2 Timothy 2:1

We do this as the Body of Christ corporately each Sunday but also individually in between Sundays.

We would be honored to pray for you or someone you know during the Prayer of the Church in our Sunday Divine Service and add it to our prayer list, which is also updated and published in every weekly bulletin and accessible also online.

If you would like to add someone to our prayer list, you can do so by using the web form below or filling out the paper slip provided in the in the entry way, handing it to the Pastor or an usher, or placing it directly in the offering plate. You may also text or speak with our pastor with the same information though the sooner before the start of the Divine Service the better.
